Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) operates under its own Employment Regulations 2019, which are based on English common law principles. These regulations apply to all employers registered within ADGM, regardless of where the employee performs their work.

ADGM has unique features including tiered notice periods based on length of service (7 days for under 1 year, 30 days for 1-5 years, 90 days for 5+ years), a minimum of 20 working days annual leave, and enforceable garden leave provisions.
